Energy Sovereignty and true sustainability must start from within. It must start with the realisation of the individual that one's life is imbued with a unique set of characteristics to create value for oneself, one's loved ones, one's community and society at large.

Until we realise that we are net-energy creators and stop looking to fix an inner lack with outward consumption no energy system irrespective of its advanced technologies and renewable characteristics will ever be truly sustainable.
